Terrorism - We all know about the 9-11 attacks in America and we all remember where we were when we found out about them. The increase of attacks in the west has meant that westeners that travel to other counties have to take more care.

Natural Hazards - Another of the big stories at the moment is the barage of hurricanes hitting the east coast of America and the Carribean. Other hazards to take into view are volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, avalanches, monsoon weather and tropical storms.
